Links Zimbabwe ("LinksZW", "we", "us") is an industrial-attachment platform operated in Zimbabwe by Tanuel Systems. For the purposes of the Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07] we are the data controller of the personal information described below.

From students: full name, email address, phone number, institution, programme of study, year of study, CV content you enter into the CV Builder (education, experience, skills, projects, references), your college attachment letter if you upload one, AI interview answers and scores, application history, and subscription payment references.
From recruiters: company name, registration details, contact person name and role, email, phone, physical location, company logo, and the job posts you publish.
Automatically: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps — used for security, fraud prevention and service reliability only.
We do not collect national ID numbers, banking credentials, biometric data, or any special category of personal information as defined in section 3 of the Act.

A recruiter can see your profile and CV only when you have applied to one of their positions and your subscription is active. When a subscription lapses, your contact details are automatically masked from recruiter views until you renew.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We share data only with: (a) the recruiter you applied to; (b) payment processors, strictly to confirm your transaction; (c) email delivery infrastructure operating on our behalf; and (d) law enforcement or regulators where legally compelled.
Personal information is stored on servers with access controls, encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), and hashed passwords — we never store a password in a form we could read. Where processing occurs outside Zimbabwe, we only use providers offering an adequate level of protection as contemplated in section 28 of the Act.

If a breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify POTRAZ and affected users without undue delay, describing what happened, what data was involved, and what we are doing about it.

LinksZW is intended for tertiary-level students. We do not knowingly create accounts for anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us and we will remove the account.
We will post any material change on this page and update the date at the top. Where a change materially affects how we use your information, we will email registered users before it takes effect.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, contact us first at support@links.co.zw. You also have the right to complain directly to the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ), which serves as Zimbabwe's Data Protection Authority.

Students: you must be enrolled at a recognised Zimbabwean tertiary institution and seeking industrial attachment. Recruiters: you must represent a legitimately registered organisation and be authorised to recruit on its behalf.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal — do not share credentials. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
Everything you publish — CV content, qualifications, company details, job posts — must be truthful. Misrepresenting qualifications or posting fictitious positions will result in suspension.
Student subscriptions are prepaid for a fixed period shown at checkout. Recruiters use LinksZW at no charge. Subscriptions do not auto-renew; access to job listings pauses when a subscription expires until it is renewed. Payments are non-refundable once a subscription is activated, except where required by Zimbabwean consumer law.
The AI interview produces an indicative score to help recruiters shortlist. It is a screening aid, not a guarantee of placement, and it does not replace a recruiter's own judgement. Scores may be recalculated as the model improves.
LinksZW connects students with employers. We do not guarantee that any student will be placed, nor that any recruiter will fill a position.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Where practical we will explain why and give an opportunity to respond.
LinksZW is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by Zimbabwean law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the platform, including loss of an opportunity.
These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, and the courts of Zimbabwe have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
